Steamer Cannons

New for 2010 are our double barrelled Streamer and Confetti cannons. With a range of voltage options and pressurised with compressed air to between 90 and 120 psi, these cannons will make a great edition to your confetti shooting arsenal!

For Galaxis users the 24 volt version will enable you to fire chase’s on que without the need of additional operators or control equipment. Picture and prices will be avaliable shortly.

Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena

We were asked by our good friends at Pyrojunkies to supply the Galaxis Wireless Firing system to fire the opening and closing of the Capital fm Jingle Bell Ball on the 5th and 6th December in the O2 Arena. The opening sequence of 350 hits of Pyro fire in 19 seconds from 8 Tenway Galaxis units fitted with 50 way Matrix modules. The closing sequence was 300kg of Confetti airbursts mounted around the walkways in the roof of the Arena, with the last 15 hits sequenced as a chase to fire in just under a second fired from 3 Tenways fitted with 100 way Matrix modules.

AardvarkFX complete filming for Jeremy Clarksons latest DVD

AardvarkFX have just completed filming for Jeremy Clarksons latest DVD to be released at the end of October / Early November.
As always some challenging and specialist effects were engineered using our vast knowledge in this area. Please check back for trailer and DVD release dates.

AardvarkFX booked for the final Take That tour at Wembley

Quantum Effects have again asked us to assist in the Take That tour at Wembley. The shows in Cardiff were a great sucess with the Galaxis wireless firing system proving yet again that this is without doubt the best wireless system in the world.

AardvarkFX have been asked to assist in the Take That Tour at Cardiff on the 16th and 17th of June. Quantum Effects have asked us to fire the pyrotechnics using our Galaxis wireless firing system.

AardvarkFX up at the Emirates

AardvarkFX are currently working on the Capital Radio Summer Ball at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium in London. We were contacted by Pyrojunkies who have asked us to assist with the event using our unique Galaxis wireless firing system. Bands will include Blue, Katy perry, Kelly Clarkson, Lionel Richie and Enrique Iglesias.

Aardvark finish filming on Engineering connections

AardvarkFX have just finished filming for Richard Hammonds new series of Engineering connections.
We were tasked with some complicated effects including showing the effects of underwater magnetic mines, safe blowing – showing the difference between steel and titanium and fire effects.
The series will be screened on BBC1 in the near future.

Another year over

AardvarkFX have had another successful year.
November saw the very wet crowd at Radstock Round tables event thrilled by yet another pyromusical.
Chiswick park were treated to our very latest flame system played in perfect time to music and giving flames to over 25ft.

Christmas lights turn ons at Reading (in association with BrightFX), Weston Super mare and Portishead were very well recieved with the addition of our large snow machine giving that extra something special.

Jeremy Clarksons DVD was something spectacular with the incorporation of military grade explosives being used in one of the stunts.
We would like to thank our customers past and present for their support and we look forward to 2009 when we will be investing in more technology to give our customers the very best in entertainment.

Crane Launch

AardvarkFX were contacted by Pyro1 to assist in in the launch of 2 new container cranes at Southampton container terminal.
Our wireles remote boxes were used at the very end of the crane booms and in 2 containers suspended from underneath.
