We looked at various systems from America to Europe. AardvarkFX finally settled on the German built Galaxis system. The system is proven both Indoor and Outdoor and has been used for many pop tours including Robbie williams. The system has also won a great number of firework competitions. Features of the Galaxis PFC Advanced.
The device offers a fully intergrated wireless solution, no external wireless modems are required. The advanced is not dependant on any external data line that can cause malfunction or damage.
The system can easily be intergrated into multimedia via any one of six interface options.
The Advanced is fully compatible with the Galaxis Pyrotec-Composer software making pyromusicals a joy to programme. Firing scripts can be added manually or transfered to the system via CF cards, USB and RS232 interfaces, with firing times between cues being as little as 0.01 seconds this system enables the operator to carry out complex stepping sequences with dynamic changes of speed very easily. The controllers software can be updated, this way the system will always be State-of the-art.
Text can be added to each firing cue allowing the operator to see which effect will be fired with the next cue.
You can fire shows manually or by automatic sequence (firing script), a dead mans switch and the option to inhibit particular firing commands have been provided for additional saftey. Furthermore you can always interfere with firing sequence using the “Pause, Cancel and Fire next cue”.
The system is equipped with an input for external firing control. This feature allows you to use external switches, photoelectric barriers, ripcords and so on for triggering, a must in special effects.
